Open Positions:

 

Children’s Programmer

Work Schedule: 10 hours per week including Tuesday & Wednesday mornings

 

Job duties will include:

• Planning and presenting programs for children under the supervision of the Children’s Librarian                 
• Outreach programs for preschool age children at daycares and schools
• Development of crafts, take and make activities, and scavenger hunts for children 

Position requires:

• Ability to understand the needs of children and to interact with them and their families in an effective manner
• Knowledge of activities and programs appropriate for children, or willingness to develop those skills
• AA in Early Childhood Education or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
